Casio G-SHOCK GD-B500-7ER: My First G-Shock Watch 🤍

Some things we buy simply because we like them. And then there are things we grow to appreciate a little more every single day.

This is exactly how I feel about the Casio G-SHOCK GD-B500-7ER watch in white. These are my first G-Shock watches, and I have to say they truly surprised me – not only with their design, but also with how practical they can be in everyday life.

Sport Watches That Do Not Look Overly Sporty

When someone mentions G-Shock, most people imagine large, robust watches designed primarily for men. However, the GD-B500 model is a little different. It has a smaller and slimmer construction than most classic G-Shock models, which makes it appear much more elegant and comfortable even on a smaller wrist. The case measures approximately 41.5 mm in width and only 11 mm in thickness, making the watch lightweight and comfortable even for all-day wear. Because of this, I feel these are among the first G-Shock watches that truly make sense for women as well.

My version is the GD-B500-7ER – the white variant.

The white silicone strap and light-colored case feel very clean and modern. The watch matches both sporty outfits and everyday city style. Bluetooth is common in smartwatches today, but in a classic G-Shock it is a very pleasant bonus.

G-Shock is mainly known for its exceptional durability.
